To All Students, staff and the wider College community,
The passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II is a profoundly sad event. The Queen has been a constant, stable, and enduring presence in all our lives.
As a stateswoman, the Queen led the nation through tremendous change during her 70 years of service to the nation. Her unwavering commitment to her civic duty has been truly remarkable.
The Queen honoured these words, spoken on her Coronation Day, in the fullest possible way.
“I have in sincerity pledged myself to your service, as so many of you are pledged to mine. Throughout all my life and with all my heart, I shall strive to be worthy of your trust.”

Each of us will have our own reflections on the life and passing of The Queen. We share our condolences and sympathy with the Royal Family.
Fareham College will provide further details for observance of the state funeral and what that means for the College community once guidance has been received from the Department for Education. In the meantime, the College will continue as usual.
We encourage any and all students who require additional wellbeing support and guidance to stop by Student Services and encourage compassion amongst the student, staff and wider college community.
