The UK’s College of the Year, Fareham College is top, amongst General FE Colleges in the Solent region, in the FE Choices Learner Satisfaction Survey 2017 to 2018.
The survey, which measures learners’ satisfaction with learning and training funded by the Department for Education, revealed that Fareham College’s score was the ninth highest of 170 providers (GFE, including tertiary colleges), and the highest in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
Speaking about the results, Nigel Duncan, Principal at Fareham College, said:
“Student satisfaction is something that we consider as a true measure of our College’s performance. We want to ensure that every student leaves us feeling ready for whatever direction they wish to take, but also that they made the right choice in choosing us to help them get there. This survey shows that our students are particularly happy with the way they are taught, which is testament to the fantastic teaching and support staff who I feel very privileged to work with.”
